What better way to complement the beauty of the Church and its near-perfect acoustics than with music? Each summer, a volunteer group of music lovers sponsors a series of six concerts, incorporated as "Sundays on the Hill". Each concert takes place on Sunday afternoons at 4 PM at the Church on the Hill featuring leading professional artists, mostly from New England. The range of performances spans a variety of music from vocal and instrumental soloists to group ensembles. Past performers have included cellist Matt Haimovitz, Robert DeCormier's famed Counterpoint chorus, The Brass Connection, and Elisabeth von Trapp with cellist Erich Kory.
Join us for delightful Sunday afternoons of fine music in a classic New England village setting.
Concert Schedule
Concerts are held from June to September from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Admission to the concerts is only $5 for adults thanks to generous support from the Friends of Sundays on the Hill, The Vermont Country Store and other anonymous donors. Children attend at no charge. Please be aware that there are no tickets; admission is paid at the door and it is open seating.
